Deborah Euzebio is a Maryland native who’s passionate about equity, justice, and fighting for quality education for all. She attended the University of Richmond, where she received her bachelor's degree in American Studies and minored in Education and Society, and later attended Johns Hopkins University, where she received her Master of Science in Education.
Following experiences as a mentor and fellow in several youth-based programs, in 2015, Deborah joined Teach for America Baltimore, where she taught for five years as a 1st, 2nd, and 4th-grade teacher at Patterson Park Public Charter School. Deborah went on to work as a Capitol Hill Fellow after she was accepted into the fellowship in 2020. During her time on the Hill, she worked to advance progressive criminal justice and education legislation. Prior, she worked as a fellow with Strong Schools Maryland to help advocate for the passing of the Blueprint for Maryland's Future, a law slated to revolutionize the education and teaching profession in Maryland. She now works to guide the implementation of the Blueprint at MSEA as an Education Policy Specialist. In the Center for Education Policy and Practice, she is the point of contact for the Southern and Eastern Shore regions, in addition to the following Central County regions: Howard County, Montgomery County, and Anne Arundel County. She also is the staff liaison for the Professional Standards and Teacher Education Board (PSTEB).
