Guidance for the Community School Infographic
In alignment with Senate Bill 161 (2024), the Maryland State
Department of Education (MSDE) is required to evaluate how Personnel and
Per-Pupil Concentration of Poverty Grants are being utilized across all
phases of community school implementation (Year 1 and beyond). To meet
this requirement, each Community School must submit a completed
infographic reporting tool with data from the 2024–2025 school year by
August 15, 2025.
This NEA-MSEA facilitated session will offer step-by-step guidance on:
- Understanding the purpose and key components of the Community School infographic
- Accessing and organizing the data needed for accurate reporting
- Tips for effectively completing each section
- Leveraging the infographic to communicate your school’s impact and funding needs to stakeholders
