The Praxis Teaching Reading: K-12 test focuses on the knowledge and skills a beginning teacher must have to support reading and writing development in elementary and secondary school students. Course Description: 

Join MSEA Praxis 5164 and 5165 are math exams for educators seeking licensure to teach mathematics:
  • Praxis 5164: Middle School Mathematics is designed for educators seeking licensure to teach middle school math. The topics covered are more advanced than elementary-level math but not as rigorous as high school math.
  • Praxis 5165: Mathematics is computer-based and designed for educators seeking licensure to teach high school math. The exam has 66 selected-response questions, including drag-and-drop and single-selection multiple-choice, and covers topics like algebra, calculus, geometry, and discrete mathematics.
